From Early Years to IGCSE — and boarding from Year 7 — SBIS gives 3-to-16-year-olds a continuous Cambridge pathway on a purpose-built 10-acre campus, ten minutes from central Ipoh.
A Cambridge International School in Ipoh, ages 3–16, with boarding from Year 7. Where our students go next is the only marketing we trust.
When you tour SBIS, I will meet you. I will tell you the truth about our IGCSE results, the size of our cohort, and the kind of child we serve well — and the kind we don't. Then we'll walk the campus together.
An association of three hundred and twelve students. One purpose-built campus. One Cambridge pathway from Early Years to IGCSE. Admission by application.
Not a brochure. A real Tuesday on a ten-acre campus in Ipoh — 08:14 to 19:30, taken on iPhones by our staff.
Academic excellence sits alongside integrity, resilience and global citizenship — the three values traced around our seal.

My daughter was timid before SBIS. Two years later she stood up at assembly and read her own poem. The teachers know her. They know us.
Both of mine are here. The student-to-teacher ratio is real — not a marketing line. My son's form tutor texts me when he's having a hard week.
I boarded from Year 8. SBIS is small, but that's the point — by Year 11 the head still knew which Cambridge subjects I was sitting.
We relocated from Singapore. Cambridge continuity mattered. Three months in, my son was top set in Maths — and on the badminton team.
The performing arts programme changed her. She auditioned for nothing before SBIS. She's now leading our annual production.
I came in with B's. I left with five A*'s. The Maths department isn't just good for Ipoh — it's good full stop.
